 Ministry to the Sick

Ministry to the Sick

Care for the sick and needy is a core element of our Christian faith. This is not just the responsibility of the priests, but of all people. We encourage everyone to look out for each other, and to pray for those in need. It is not always easy to know who is unwell; please do not assume we know about your illness or struggles.

If you would like to be added to our prayer list, let us know - it can be just for one week!

If you would like a pastoral visit from a member of the clergy or the pastoral team, let us know.

Home Communion

We have a team of people who visit those who are housebound and not able to come to church to receive Holy Communion regularly. Usually, visits are once a month. If you, or someone you care for, would like to receive Holy Communion at home, please let us know. You shouldn't feel guilty about receiving Holy Communion and home whilst managing to come to church occasionally!

If you are temporarily unable to attend church, you can be visited and given Holy Communion at home as a one-off. Please let us know and we will be more than happy to call on you at home or at hospital.

We also offer the ministry of the Laying on of Hands and Anointing for those who are sick. Please enquire about this.
